yea i like the old school greenday, the new songs arnt my style but i still listen to the old ones.

Yea Dookie was really fucking good, but like everybody else said i hate there new songs, ive also noticed the singer seems to want to be british? he sings about "idiot americans" and "on holiday" really, who in america says "on holiday"?

 

I have to say, though, that I do like "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". I fell in love with that song when I was shrooming.

 

That song was allright the first 1,000,000,000 times they played it on the radio, but after that it got pretty annoying .
Anywhos, Insomniac is a good song, easy to play, and about crystal meth.

 

That's what I said too. I was tired of it and it was getting annoying, but then I heard it on shrooms and it was a completely different situation. It took on a whole new meaning and got pretty deep. The same can be said about "speed of sound" by coldplay, I heard that song so many times and was getting really bothered by the amount I heard it, but then I heard it while shrooming and couldn't stop smiling. Shrooms just change music completely.

 

well, to be fair everything takes on a near-mystical meaning when you are shrooming.

hahaha Yeah The first time I ate some chocolates(and shrooms in general) I watched Half Baked and that shit got deep man. I uncovered all kinds of hidden meanings and metaphors that I, while I was shrooming, thought would change my life. Shrooms make the most idiotic shit seem like messages from god.

green day= just another band hopping on the "fuck bush" bandwagon for publicity. if you're going to hate someone that bad, at least have a legitamate reason for it. green day is fag poser shit. my girlfriend jams the shit out of em and it grinds my fuckin nerves.

 

I agree here, Green Day was pretty good back in the day pretty sold out and played out.

 

I cant stand green day. They play it on the rock station and it takes up all the good rock. But yeah. They're worse especially when stoned.

ya I realized %90 of bands and people that hate bush dont even know why they do, they only do cuz the music they listen to does, and THEY dont even have a reason. although, One day I hope I see greenday go to hell for tea time with satan and good charlotte ahah.

 

you can't chill to greenday in the sense that i like to chill. for me, chilling doesn't involve cliche politcal rants and simple--and overly distorted--guitar power chords. i'd much prefer a good techno groove from Particle, a 20-minute jam session by Phish, some classic rock, or something else with a similar level of musical suavity and virtuoso.
