i need some ideas for a persuasive speech i have to give after christmas.... i'd prefer not to piss people off.... as of right now i'm going with why you shouldnt support the troops.... ahaha thatll lose me no friends i bet

i wanted to give one about the war, against it obviously... but it was taken

 

do it on how bush is a horrible president.

 

give one on why rock and roll saves lives... yes.

make a persuasive speech on bush...persuading everybody on exactly how bad of a president he truely is

the majority of these people chose to go into a war you don't support, those who didn't go into a profession that deals in killing people, annexing land, controlling space and information


it is all about power, ambition...

there is some measure of "only way out" in some rare circumstances, but these are rare, and frankly if someone can't work their way around the thing I don't know if I want to support them anyway.

 

do it about how burning rock and roll records will stop teen pregnencies cause the burning fumes mutate the gamettes and render them useless

my friend mike acctually wrote about that for some English assignment we had to do. You were presented with a logical fallacy, then you either had to show why it is a fallacy or try to prove it true or somethign like that...it was awesome

 

well shit, i was set on doing it against military recruitment in schools, but you just gave me new inspiration.

hmmm im torn between the troops thing and trying to convince people that our government attacked us on 9/11, not some muslims


ill prolly end up doing that one but i prolly wont know until a few days before i have to give it as usual

 

know about the planes involved in a serious way before you think about tackling that one, every one I've seen doesn't even have shit about the nitrogen ballast system in airliners as opposed to not in most older military craft.....

 

I say go for attacking the ridiculous "support our troops" mentality running around the US these days.
