Whoever you wish i suppose...i dunno if you agree it seems low or high morale is down to conditions and grievances over facilities and disparity between reservists and full timers [equipment] ... I am streched to find a over riding feeling the troops feel 'This war is wrong' and wanting to go home because of deep misgivings of foreign policys [i honestly did look] . Saying that i guess that feeling is legitimate and if i looked hard enough over anti war sites [come on thats were i am likely to find such 'overiding evidence'] i will be able too.


It is funny as i am sure all this info i have gathered could be found if i was in america and a whole lot more..from varying media outlets.. i guess the printed press is difficult to keep upto date and away from speculation etc thats the nature of the beast it has to maintain a element of clarity and leaning towards its readership..

the invasion of the middle east was to destabilise it, it could have been syria, iraq, iran etc. i suspect they chose iraq because it is THE centre of the middle east, when we think of the middle east it sits slap bang in the middle of it. when the americans took the war to germany they (eisenhower) made the correct assertion that to win the war they must drive directly into the heart of the machine to take it down. so it was with the middle east they decided to drive into the middle of it. once saddam had paid his debts it was time to go in. whats the point of having stock piles of weapons if you never use them. of course no one wonders what comes of this kind of policy - more resistance to your desire to invade. i doubt that the democrats ever thought the WMD'S existed. the trick for the americans this election is to vote neither democrat nor republican. freedom of the press? no such thing it is a myth the trick is to read between the lines.
