Time out, Skip. A mobile chemical plant for the making of fertilizer? Why the hell would the Iraqis do that? It would only lead to suspicion that they were doing something else. It would seem that no one has a lock on accuracy. Guess we should all just smoke ourselves retarded.
Yes they were, sorry I got things out of order. But it supports the theory that that this was a domestic plot to terrorize Democrats into submission. I'm researching the history of this right now, and we can start or dredge up another thread to discuss this, but not this one, as it's off-topic.
LOL! Gilligan, sorry those quotes mean nothing if based on lies fed to our leaders by the CIA & Pentagon. BTW, Howard Dean has just said what I did earlier! He agrees this situation is exactly like Vietnam & Watergate! http://www.woai.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=C36A87B9-63A0-4CDE-AA91-B41571AFD3AF
Fair and balanced. I watch it daily, and I always see liberals on in one form or another - and they are ALWAYS free to give their opinions. If the channel had no liberals, I would agree with you. But why do I even bother? You're going to yell some more. oh, and gratz that Howard Dean agreed with you.
Where precisely do you source your supposed facts Gilligan, from your own wishful thinking? The Republicans (led by the extreme right wing faction) gained control of both houses in the 1994 Congressional Elections and have maintained that control ever since. Best you do some study before dismissing skip's comments based on your own failure to check the record.
So all the blame shifting of the current admin as well as hardliners in Congress identifies them as "liberals" eh? It's all Clinton's fault even though the Bush admin has been calling the shots since 2000. Yep that's "taking responsibility" in action! Keep spouting your ill-informed partisan mantras Gilligan. You parrot Rovian spin like a good little dupe. The liberals are coming, eeeeeek.
Gilligan, can I suggest including at least one sentence beginning with the word 'best' in your posts? It lends a certain authority to what would otherwise be complete drivel, e.g. "Best you include boilerplate insults and then end your posts with a smiley".
And on cue, Pointless returns to demonstrate that one does not need relevance or substance in one's posts so long as one has a ready supply of inane derision to dole out. Things getting slow at the coffee trolly are they?
You put your own ridiculous words in your posts for all to see, Gilligan. Even when exposed as having no clue about the goings on behind your favorite soundbites (let alone the composition of Congress asserted falsely to back up your spurious argumentation) you still continue to cling desperately to your misguided arguments. Sign of an unstable mind at the very least. Best you follow your own advice and go actually investigate more than a few cut and paste quotes from your favorite partisan blog site.
Morale Low in Iraq:2005 http://www.military.com/NewsContent/0,13319,FL_morale_072105,00.html Morale low: 2003 [ Many troops in Iraq dissatisfied ] http://www.msnbc.com/news/980954.asp?0cl=c3&cp1=1 http://www.stripes.com/article.asp?section=104&article=17515&archive=true Iraq Morale Could Be Better http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,100269,00.html "I want my life back.'' http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/07/17/eveningnews/main563822.shtml Of course ''Morale is high'' can also be found.. Morale high as troops await Iraq deployment http://www.abc.net.au/news/items/200503/1327544.htm?nt Troop Morale High as Iraq Sovereignty Transfer Nears http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1160391/posts When asked directly about morale, their opnions varied: http://stevegilliard.blogspot.com/2003/10/morale-in-iraq-ive-run-bunch-of.html who ya' gonna believe??? Whoever you wish i suppose...i dunno if you agree it seems low or high morale is down to conditions and grievances over facilities and disparity between reservists and full timers [equipment] ... I am streched to find a over riding feeling the troops feel 'This war is wrong' and wanting to go home because of deep misgivings of foreign policys [i honestly did look] . Saying that i guess that feeling is legitimate and if i looked hard enough over anti war sites [come on thats were i am likely to find such 'overiding evidence'] i will be able too. It is funny as i am sure all this info i have gathered could be found if i was in america and a whole lot more..from varying media outlets.. i guess the printed press is difficult to keep upto date and away from speculation etc thats the nature of the beast it has to maintain a element of clarity and leaning towards its readership.. Heck one of the biggest storys came from the ''Murdoch press'' http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-1593607,00.html [one of dozens] then shockingly missed by the Bush Admi censors http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/07/AR2005060700474_pf.html and that was not too healthy for BUSH or BLAIR ..so as well written skips link is it has a few flaws in its reasoning...
How about me? I'm not interested in paying taxes forever and hocking my son's life to the end of his days to pay for this excursion
the invasion of the middle east was to destabilise it, it could have been syria, iraq, iran etc. i suspect they chose iraq because it is THE centre of the middle east, when we think of the middle east it sits slap bang in the middle of it. when the americans took the war to germany they (eisenhower) made the correct assertion that to win the war they must drive directly into the heart of the machine to take it down. so it was with the middle east they decided to drive into the middle of it. once saddam had paid his debts it was time to go in. whats the point of having stock piles of weapons if you never use them. of course no one wonders what comes of this kind of policy - more resistance to your desire to invade. i doubt that the democrats ever thought the WMD'S existed. the trick for the americans this election is to vote neither democrat nor republican. freedom of the press? no such thing it is a myth the trick is to read between the lines.
most of the new infrastructure though is being paid for by investors from abroad abroad and wouldn't need to exist if we hadn't bombed the hell out of the country I wonder how many kids are going to need prosthetic legs because we felt cluster bombs were the quickest way to do shit.......
Yes, I'm sure there's been LOTS of improvement in infrastructure, and new housing & schools - IN THE GREEN ZONE! Not much going on outside it. You esp. won't see troops assisting Iraqi's outside the Green Zone, cause they'd be dead in minutes. Get fucking real! There is virtually NO SECURITY in Iraq outside the green zone. Whole cities are outside the US & coalition control. Infrastructure is for the most part WORSE than before the US invasion (and that's after how many years of sanctions when the Iraqis could not get parts to service their infrastructure). Even Bush admits they are not progressing on infrastructure, and most of the money set aside for rebuilding Iraq has been spent on "security" and other contingencies. Gilligan, I think YOU should go there yourself on a fact finding mission instead of relying on second hand reports. Don't you want to protect America from the terrorists being trained daily in Iraq? Don't you want to kill all the towelheads before they kill you? Now's your chance. Put your "money" where you mouth is. Same for the rest of your war hawks. Let's see you or your children go to Iraq. See if you whistle the same tune after a few rotations there. Also Gilligan, if you could read, you'd know that 80% of Iraqis want the US out now. You win the "Wildest Lies" award for the member with the most lies in their posts.
BTW, what's the point of having a free press if they get all their news stories from the white house (rove) and can't be bothered to do their own investigative journalism (FAUX NEWS).
u a fucking moron. this is a illegal war. go ask the families of these people http://mindprod.com/politics/iraqwarpix.html if the price of war is worth it. if things like tv or da internet is worth da lives of their loved ones this is a war driven solely by greed. stop defending it coz u are insulting all the innocent people who have died coz of it.
ok i admit it was abit off topic but thats only coz i never read properly. my sincere apologies. about the pics. the only reason u say its propaganda is coz they dont show u those pics on fox.
