Id Like to see alla them shut down. Id like to see all local family run establishments in their places. Go to your local pizza joint where the owner and his kids at the counter speak Italian and get a stromboli, the world'l be a better place.

 

Potheads with the MUNCHIES is probably a big reason why the pizza industry took off big, in the 70's! Not that all potheads like pizza, but many do. PIZZA HUT isn't too bad, but the family-owned, gourmet-specialized pizzas are the best! Weed is an appetite stimulant and thus potheads get the "munchies". It also effects blood sugar levels. It would seem that pot would be a good "medicine" for anorexics. They'd get too stoned to worry about their psychological problem, get the munchies, than eat and gain weight!

I grew up when family-owned businesses ruled. "Mom and Pop" stores and businesses were plentiful, and chains were few. Route 66 was known for unique and independant stores and businesses. Independent, family-owned stores and businesses are truely AMERICAN! Independent, creative and competitive! "Chains" are more COMMUNIST, and New World Order, where the few control the many. This results in a "blandness". Every town has the same old things, like a "TWILIGHT ZONE" episode. Massive cloning. I prefer independence and variety! It adds "spice" to life!
