What we call lonelyness, is actually lack of purpose in life.

Go and have a look at your innerself. What makes me happy, what makes me angry? Do something with it. Do what you think is nice and you'll never be lonely.

    :p

  5. then why are so many people who don't have purpose, not lonely?

lonliness is when you're extroverted and can't get your fix of attention...

Define purpose if you can... Isnt all purpose a human thought and preconception and therfore very limited? Humans don't possess as much true greatness and power as they'd like to think sometimes. How many people do you know who are truly good hearted well meaning people who want to get out there and help the world in any way possible... and how far does that ever take them or those their well meaning to? I guess we have some power and we can all influence and do a lot if we become truly considerate and aware...And we have God in our hearts I think... and that is a pretty awesome/intense power to co-exist with to me. But I still don't think were nearly as much as we make ourselves out to be =/

I think every person is should be able to be happy and content all by himself. with who he is and what he does.

When alone and unhappy, most of us start trying to become fulfilled by looking outside ourselves. What and who we can add to our lives to not feel the emptiness. Sooner or later we have found somebody and the emptiness fades away. But it is still within us to come back at us as soon as the other disappaers again.

When you take time to figure out what you want to fight for, and start doing that, even if the relationship comes to an end, you will still have a good feeling about what you are doing. (btw. I am not saying lonelyness is a 'bad' state of mind, but most of us just try to avoid it.) I really like the fact that, after looking for a long time for what I can do in life, about half a year ago I changed that into: "what do I want to do?". I started doing that and it makes me feel very happy and content. And it feels like a strong base.

Furhtermore I think that if the whole world starts doing it, there will be a lot less frustration around, and that would make me feel even better.

    :)

Well, it probably will not be put in Websters like this but I'll give it a try.

Purpose, you can find by observing your environment. Feel what makes you angry, sad. When you find what annoys you the most (to me it was the fear in which a lot of people around me live), you look back at your own life. What have I done, what are my skills. And you are ready to make a plan for what to do about it.

I think, a problem here is, that a lot of us go to school, then college and a job. In the mean time the find a partner, get kids and a mortgage. When they reach 30 ( or any age) they get aware that there is more to life than that. They start to question the gouvernment (i hope) etc. But being (co)responsible for the family the step back to starting to do what we really want is too big. Stuck in the spending pattern society obliges us to have, it is easier to stay at the current job than to start a noble cause most of the time much less paid. I think it is very important we tell the people in highschool that there is more to life than a partner/house/children, that the gouvernment is full of shit. So that they can make a choice before they are stuck. Then they can become powerful and do a lot of good.

I think then we have found a person where the word lonelyness is meant for. Maybe I should have said: "a lot of times we use the word lonelyness for..."
    Hey, it was late ...
