I just finished this wedding dress order. I just got the order a few days ago... the woman is getting married next saturday..... Sooooo I had to put together something quickly for her.
I'm reallyyyyyy unhappy with this dress... I wish I would have had more time to make her something nicer. And it's to big for my dress form, which just makes it look worse! Before I made this for her I was trying to help her out, and I looked at soooo many different websites trying to find a dress for her, and couldn't find anything for a bust size over 41".... I started to feel bad.... ~cre~ The fabrics are cotton batiks, and the sash is a handpainted cotton.
Wow May....I was just thinking that it was too bad I'm already married, because I would have LOVED this dress for my wedding! It was actually close to what I had pictured in my mind when I did go looking for dresses way back then! Never found it....I love the design and I think it looks fine on the dress form, from my standpoint I felt that way about a custom order of beads I did recently and I was so nervous the person would hate it....but he loved it. Still not one of my favorites, but I guess it's not my opinion that mattered in the end !!!!
