Mugabee is mad. However I think its also worth remembering that it was the guerilla army that he left that really quashed british imperialism in zimbabwe once and for all. He's mad now but if he was any other mad dictator the west might well ally with him, but since he beat them at war they wont ally with him.

Rhodesia was a freaking utopia, Mugabe had NOTHING to do with freeing it from Britain, RHODESIA freed itself from Britain declaring UDI in 1965, he is nothing but TERRORIST whose responsible for the total destruction of what was once a beautiful country And I tend to react extremely badly to those kinds of comments....

Yeh it was so great, mugabee managed to find a significant suport base among the oppressed blacks in the country. The white settelers ruled in rhodesia. THats what i really meant buythe british, it was ruled by the people that they planted there to do so.
