ok so i a pipe ASAP because i have to give away my bong cause im not allowed to have it in the house, so i want a small pipe i can hide easy. My first choice is glass i love glass, but i dont have the money and wont for awhile so i want to buy something else untill i can get some more money. I want a metal or wood pipe but i cant disside which one, wood is nice cause i dont need a screen and i like the style but im not sure how good wood pipes are, also how good on the lungs they are. I would get a metal but i HATE screens and i always loss them and shit,or i might go with rock or smoething

How long until you get a glass pipe? If it's like a week just smoke out of a can. If not I'd get a wood sherlock just cuz.

You might be able to ask the headshop owner if it's glazed with heat-resistant glaze, and maybe even what temperature it is good til. I'd just use a plastic bottle and tin foil until then, but thats up to you.
The wood is healthier than the metal. When you smoke out of a metal pipe you inhale LOTS of very harmful metal by-products. I had to study a book about this shit to get my job at Starship Enterprises. Most of those metal pipes contain aluminum, and we all know that aluminum can be harmful.
Yeah. I used to own a pipe made of copper tubing and I remember you could taste metal burning in the smoke. The best thing I'd do if I was in your position is to go to the hardware store and find some stuff you could make into a pipe. My friend's mom's hashpipe is made out of an elbow joint and a connector for an air line. Worked like a charm
yeah see this isnt a good idea those are definitly not good to smoke out off and top notch realy think wood is better? i dont know i know wooden pipes where used for ever but still i dont know

Well I got a nice one to hold me over for a while. It is metal , however the mouth piece is wood so it doesnt burn your lips. It rocks quite a bit of ass for ten bucks.
When I need something quick I buy glass eye droppers for $2 at Jewel and take off the rubber thing. Works perfectly, easy to hide..
save up for glass. and dont be too concerned with the harmfull effects of wood...it really cant be THAT bad. i made a wooden peice out of a small block of wood. it served me well untill i got glass
