I have these shows and they are good. Both Trey and Steve exchange lead. For the most part Steve's solo's were the more impressive ones as he just seems to have a better grasp of framing grateful dead music than Trey. His ending solo during Morning Dew is to die for.

Kimock sounded like jerry. thats great. Trey sounded like TREY! not to state the obvious...thats why Trey was there, thats why Page was there...You could just tell who they are with out reading it prior. thats why its a perfect hybrid of PHISHandDEAD....i know Drumminmama is a fan of Kimock, but he ain't no trey.

Didn't jerry say kimock was the most underrated guitarist when he was still around? Could have sworn I read that somewhere...

i love kimock...he is very underated....amazing player....but Trey is bringing to the table more than just amazing playing skills.....he's a wonderful writer.....the greatest improvisor.....he is just undefinable. like jerry. like jimi. he's forever.

Me & Earthy Mama went to the Phil show in Reading. It was great. The lead guy from the Black Crowes played with them.

just to quote PHIL from these shows...."on Rocking Guitar....Steve Kimock!""

"On Cosmic guitar...Trey Anastasio!"...both sound good, but i'll take COSMIC any day....
