At least once in my life. Anyone know the best way to go about visiting. Really interested in Amsterdam of course. ^_^
I'm 22 fluent in English and tended bar for a year here in the states.
I'm pretty friendly and easy going. Anybody got any ideas for a poor bastard such as myself?
    Thanks for the input
    Peace

    Amsterdam. :(

Sounds like you do not want to see Europe, only want to smoke and fuck.
As a 53-year old father of 6 this makes me a bit sad and even a little less angry.

Excuse me Sir! I don't think you really know me nearly well enough to make such Assumptions. I'm quite celibate and what I smoke is my own business thank you very much. I'm looking for friendly brothers and sisters interested in helping me explore and better understand the world. Your comments, while enlightening to the true nature of some, are not what I'm seeking. Thanks for your input. I also have some personal interest toward the Netherlands, sounds like you don't want to help, only criticize and judge. As a 22 Year old aspiring optimist I find your out look disturbing.

As a citizen of the Netherlands I need.... no.... demand to know what you are up to in our little country. I am sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, but with all the terrorism treats and imported malaria mosquitos I rather stay on the safe side than on no side at all.

Good lord... Are you all that afraid of terrorism? Sounds worse than the US. I was hopeful to meet up with a photographer friend at some time ... But man, if all citizens of the Netherlands are as negative as you perhaps I won't go. If your aim is to discourage international understanding and travel you're making your point very clear. My friend is pretty harsh too... Why so much negativity there? I live near Seattle, we've got similar weather ^_^

I believe you have true and peaceful meanings, but beneath your innocense there might be a scent of evil. One can never tell on this dangerous places called the 'internet'.
Hereby I give you the benefit of the doubt and welcome you to our wonderful, liberal country. Enjoy your stay, but please do not bring any of your American weapons into the Netherlands since we are trying to make our country a bit safer. Also I would prefer it if you do not discuss nor critisize our politics.

Thanks you for your cooperation and a warm welcome awaits you.

umm... What was this a test? hahahahahahaha
I don't carry weapons, only toys ^_^ and I learned as a bartender its never a good idea to talk politics... EVER :D
so mostly I'm curious. How much money does a guy need to stay in Europe comfortable for 1-3 months? I'm pretty clueless to details. I'm a musician and artist for the most part. I also absorb knowledge like a sponge. Sometimes its not always useful knowledge...

Depends on where you plan to stay in Europe. Europe is big, huge, massive, enormous and very varied. The Eastern part is cheaper than the Northwest for example.
If you want to stay comfortable in the Netherlands, plan on bringing about $1000 per month.

For more information I would like to recommend this website.

    Good luck!

Right! And it depends on what you're looking to find here, what do u plan on doing here for 3 months, etc.
The Eastern part is definitelly cheaper..i would know..i'm from Croatia(its a small country next to Italy - we "share" most of the Adriatic sea)..Allthough we are more like Middle Europe, but still..stuff are cheaper here. We don't have a problem with terrorist threats..lol (hope it stays that way) and i believe i wouldn't be wrong if i'd say at least 80% people here can speak english, young people even more i think..

That sounds like fun! I've heard so much from friends who have been to europe. I really want to see how the cultures differ. I'm from the west coast originally, and I found i really dont like most of the east coast of the US. I've mostly got the wanderlust goin on' again. I road tripped america, and i cant really afford to do that ever again, and I've only been to canada my 13th birthday. Theres so much history I'd like to explore in europe and the UK. history, culture, food, adventure! WOOHOO! I'm gonna' start saving in january!
