Should America and Canada Join the EU?

Well, we could have one grand union that will bring Earth one step closer to total unity.

So, if the U S of A and Canada were invited into the EU (Well, even if the North American countries aren't in Europe, their culture is European, so it makes some sense... but this is hypothetical anyway), should they join?

 

America can't be arsed to sign up to Kyoto, so I doubt they'd bother with the EU. and if they did they'd wanted it changed so they were in charge

I think the history of the E.U is to complicated for it to happen.. foreign agricultural policys.. trade agreements etc etc etc [times 1000].
All of that renagotiated.. mmm world unity ? more like global economical meltdown..

Anyhoo the new world under is taking over in 2012..
