I tried to quit, so many times before

I've told myself before "OK, im quitting weed, forever!" but it never works. But I've realised, no it's pointless. Weed does me no harm, it's a fun fun ultimate drug. In the same league as alcohol in my opinion. As long as it's not daily abuse, weeed is alright

I smoke it daily.. and I don't find it to be abuse... Its my anti depressent <3 and I love it.. my cat seems to enjoy it alot also .. now if you excuse me.. I gotta go smoke some bud

 

I am a candidate for abusing weed also, which is why I always have a few weeks break after Iv caned an ounce, otherwise I would just be wasted all the time. I have to remind my self constantly that weed is there to enhance my life not to saturate it.

 

I love weed and owe quite a bit of my happiness to weed, because it basically brought me out of a pretty deep depression. My psycho-therapist happens to agree

But I often find myself over-indulging and smoking entirely too much for it to be considered even remotely healthy. I still have to disagree with you when you say that weed is "in the same league as alcohol", because that is complete bullshit, if you ask me. Alcohol has ZERO benefits, medical or otherwise, and does nothing but poison your mind and body. While weed has helped to rid me, and many others like me, of depression, alcohol is the sole source of clinical depression for millions upon millions of people all over the world. Weed is nothing like alcohol and should never be compared to such a horrid substance.

I know you weren't trying to start a big discussion on the similarities and differences between weed and alcohol but, for some reason, I felt the need to say that. I just hate it when people compare the two, as they are completely different.

i smoke alot too and personally dont ever wanna quit but dont you hate it when you're friends say "you're doing it too much" ...and i'm like w/e
i feel they are hypocrites they themselves enjoy it soo much..and then say this crap ...thats why i prefer to smoke with my band .....the drummer and i we can probably smoke from morning to night hell we've done it

 

and play a good gig ...in the end

Weed is NOTHING like alcohol. Alcohol is much worse for your health and has very different effects, and very different ways of consuming.

But yeah, weed kicks ass

That's right man. Weed is soooo much better, and it has some redeeming qualities, unlike alcohol. Marijuana has so many mental benefits for me, and alcohol simply stupifies.

 

If you really wanted to just replace it with something else. But yeah, when I first glanced at the title of this thread i figured you'd be saying something negative about weed. I was nicely surprised.

 

You are right. Alcohol is much more harsh drug than weed. But in my opinion alcohol is the ultimate feel good "lets go out and have fun" drink.

 

Red wine is good for you...however hangovers suck ass! I can't tell you how many times I've woken up wishing for death because it be would be better than how I felt right then. The kind where your head is pounding so fuckin hard but you know if you take any Advil, you'll puke immediately. Yet we go out and do it again. Also with weed you have control, with alcohol you are out of control.
