I have this cold type thing and got the snotts and keep blowing my nose - everytime i do my nose bleeds and if i dont i get snot pouring down my face - they are both vile and yucky!!!
I've had this problem before. Have you ever heard of Candida albicans? It's a type of full-body yeast infection found in 1 out of every 3 Americans, and its not recognized by the FDA last I knew. I've got it relatively bad, my dad has it much worse. I used to get persisting nosebleeds like that too, the trick is simple, and yet difficult: STOP EATING SO MUCH GOD DAMN SUGAR. Don't drink any sodas, don't eat anything with any sugar (save maybe the natural sugars found in fruits and such). Make tea if you have to, and I mean MAKE it, don't buy the sugar-loaded Brisk and such. I used to get nosebleeds several times a day for weeks at a time, because I just kept eating too much sugar. Turns out, when your blood sugar gets extremely high, your body literally "lets" your nose start bleeding, in order to thin out the sugar levels in the blood. The blood that escapes has high levels of sugar, and the blood that your body makes to replace it has no extra sugar in it, thus keeping the sugar level in balance. It's also related to both diabetes and hyperglycemia. See this quote by Wikipedia: I'm convinced one of the main reasons why people have diabetes is because they consume SO MUCH sugar every day. Sodas contain over 30 grams per 12 oz serving. But your body only requires about 1 gram per day to have proper sugar levels. All the rest either gets converted into fat and stored as energy, or messes with your blood sugar levels and other parts of your body, including feeding yeast present in your body. So, stop eating so much sugar, and your nosebleeds will probably go away. Mine did. Edit: Also, take some Vitamin C to get rid of your cold. I'm sure that doesn't help.
Intresting, Hikaru I used to get extreme nose bleeds actually, but they stopped a while ago They were unrelenting and lasted for hours. So glad they stopped, I found them terrifying.
Yeah, that happened to me once. It was odd, actually. I had a cold for a while and my nose started to bleed pretty much...which was annoying but I didn't worry much about it. Well, one night I'm gaming with some friends and I sneeze and it starts going...ok, no problemo. I excuse myself, hit the bathroom and start taking care of it. Now here's the thing. As I start wiping off my nose and such, and this is a little gross, I find this...ya know, strand of snot/goo/blood. So I go to pull it... and here's where it gets unhappy. When I pull it, I feel something shift way back in my head somewhere. I blink, try again...then shrug and start pulling for real. Well, what I ended up pulling out...it was not of this world. This thing had it's own damn heartbeat, so help me god. Being drunk at the time didn't help, as I ended up -screaming- "JEEBUS I PULLED OUT MY BRAIN" at 4 a.m. in a crowded house. But really, this thing was crazy...I swear it was moving on it's own. It's probably still alive in the sewers somewhere.
damn grim....being a recovering meth/coke addict that story made me want to pass out lol.....thats awful man.
