DOes anyone live in Bristol??

I'm in and out of bristol all the time.
I just wondered if anyone lives there... ?

i'm moving there next year
as soon as i can sort out a place
i will be over there.

Nope but I do like spending a lot of time down there! Me and my boyfriend (who is from down that way) are looking to moving there soonly!

I live in weston super mare 26 miles away , I think we have some posters who live around bristol ,stardust I think is in bath starfly is in the west country doc atomik glastonbury .

 

I am in Bristol a lot, I travel there to buy my weed and to shop at cribbs causeway. Used to live just outside of Chippenham and I worked in Bristol for 3 years. Its a fantastic part of the country. (be careful though, there are some pretty rough area's just like any other city)

 

Hey Johnny, we have had some pretty great times in Weston, we were posted at Locking just before it shut, is Sands still open? and carriges? my god I'v staggered around that town in some pretty bad states in the past!

Benn there a quite a few times, cool city,try'n stay away from St Pauls !!!

 

Nowt wrong with St Pauls! I've walked through there loads of times without any hassle, and the carnival rocks. Then again, I did grow up in Toxteth so I suppose I'm a bit thick skinned!

If you're in Bristol, be sure to check out St Mark's road. It's just off Stapleton road in Easton. It has an Indian mini-market with lots of cheap, exotic veg and ethnic foods. It also has Cafe Maitreya, which is top bloody banana.

Best of all of course, Bristol is only 45 mins drive from Glastonbury!

 

I prefer to go to The Ann Frank House ..Now that is an eye opener..

 

I tried to get a taxi from the train station to there & I had to ask 8 taxi's before they would take me there ???? no one wanted to go there ???

It has been a long time since I welcomed anybody. Welcome Foundling. Unfortunately I don't live in Bristol but know a few people who live there. Did you know that Only fools and Horses was actually filmed in Bristol? I didn't know that until some person on tv mentioned this.

 

I think I saw the same programme as you John. They said they moved filming to Bristol because too many fans molested them when in London....
