SWIM and his friends took a decent amount of chopped stems and leaf matter, along with ice cubes, and shook it in a jar for a few minutes before realizing that they were in a house that had a blender. After blending the mixture for a bit, it was left to settle in a jar. Instead of the expected layer of plant at the top and trichomes at the bottom of the jar, a great deal of plant matter sunk to the bottom. Any ideas on a good way to separate it out? As it's now past 4 AM, SWIM and his buddies decided to call it a night, and poured the jar into some filter paper, storing the relatively dry product in the freezer until a solution is devised.
Man...You forgot to separate the trichomes from the plant...after the blender. Pass the mix , in pantyhose (ghetto) or a sieve or soomething. The tighter the mesh, the more quality youll get. The plant stays in the filter and the rest is in the jar. Wait 30 minutes. pour some of the water out makin sure no trichomes get out of there. Then pour this in a cofee filter (takes so much time wah), and you get varying quality resins in the filter. Btw this method sucks. It wont yield you alot. Its a method leading to deception in my experience. The blender seems to be unable to knock off lots of trichomes.And its always scary how hard the thing is working, motor seeming to get hot because of all the ice putting resistance. If you want to make ice hash, buy bubblebags. Otherwise, other methods are better for a begginer in hash making.
bubble bags are too expensive to what they actually cost when they are manufactured ,which my guess would be 3.50 or something like that. The companys like Ecko, G unit etc; all those shirts and pants that cost 80 bucks per item are all the same, they cost about 3 bucks to make in the factory and then they sell them for an outragous amount of money cuz ppl will pay for them.
this is simple as shit. you can buy fine micron mesh at hobbie shops and some hardware stores and many many places online. just cut the bottom out of a clean plastic container and duct tape that mesh over the hole. now put your broken up weed in the blender and cover with water. give it three or four 1 one second pulses then add a ice cube for each 2 grams of weed. cover ice cubes with water (oh and best run that water thre the brita first). blend until largest chunks of ice are no more then 1/2 and inch in diameter let sit for 20 minutes then shake vigurously and pour though the filter you just made slowly and shaking the filter back and forth allow to drip out (you'll wanna make sure you have something underneith collecting the liquid comming out the bottom). Then pour ice water over the weed and allow to drip out. pour the resulting liquid out into shallow pans and allow to air dry. you'll be left with bubble hash powder, which you can then press or whatever.
