Bowie is far more talented than Queen ever were. He has the song wirting ability, and he could go beyond the limitations of glam rock.

 

i never really cared for either...although i do enjoy a few queen songs. i havent heard any bowie songs that i truely enjoy

 

This thread makes me said... Freddie Mercury was an insane and amazing vocalist (as far as stadium rock goes), Brian May is an amazing guitar tech/guitarist, and Bowie is... well... listen to Earthling. I love that album... '97, I believe. Very modern, but much more original than Queen. I believe REM helped him.

 

maybe i've just been listening to the wrong bowie songs...and of course freddy mercury is an amazing vocalist, no denying that! just, queen isnt my favorite type of band
