How To Pick the Ripe Buds

i want to know how to pick the ripe buds and if they are ready the bud at the top some of the hairs a red should i wait till they are all red or what. so getting back to picking do i cut it off or twist it off just wondering how.

P.S. you should wait until 75% of the bud hairs change color from clear/milky to red/brown.

 

so wait untill the hairs are 75 % red and cut the branchs??? so after u cut the branches you break off where the bud is???
