Have ya seen it? What did you think? I haven't seen it yet but the dvd has been sitting here for a week. Think I will watch it tonight.
I seen it in theatres. I thought it was pretty good, and for once something more original than a stupid slasher flick. And I thought that the acting was incredible....altho....I am a little biased towards the lovely miss Hudson ever since I saw Almost Famous.... I am warm for her form... but that aside, it was pretty good, and kinda interesting IMO...
it's allright. Kate Hudson is good as always, and it has a wee bit of a creepy Southern gothic feel to it, but it's also kind of average. It's better than most of the horror-thriller movies that have come out recently though, it beats the pants off something like House of Wax but is nowhere near as scary as something like Ju-on "The Grudge."
I really didnt find the Grudge scary at all....seemed a little weird but not even creepy to me....and The ring was utter stupidity in my eyes.... but yeah you're right tho, this was pretty average, I just found all the hoodoo bit very interesting
It was alright. There was a nice panty scene with Kate Hudson. She is hot as fuck. It was different than I expected, but I didn't regret renting it. The end has a funky twist. I won't give it away though. It is worth seeing I guess. Not much else out there for new releases yet.
Well, we watched it the other night and it was ...meh... OK. I was hoping it was going to be scary and it just wasn't. My husband said The Grudge is super freaky but I fell asleep when we rented it so I doubt he will want to see it again.:H
from what I am reading from here, it's something to see.. I adore Kate Hudson, although a few of her movies are different, but this one I definitely want to see..
an some one answer a question here? who are the couple that keep leaping bodies, are they the two children, I thought maybe they might be the black couple, but why would they see them in the mirrors? I kinda liked it but as you can see was totally confused! S
glad i wasn't the only one, if they where the black couple, who where the black couple they kept seeing in mirrors. where they the children at the beginning? they looked a bit evil, or did the black couple jump into the children. its all voodoo to me! S
the couple jumped into the children before their bodies got hung. so the children lived in those bodies but the children grew old and needed new ones. as for them seeing them in the mirror. theycould have used voodoo for that to trick them.
ok that makes sense thanks for clearing it up, thats the black couple is it? and who where they trying to trick useing the voodoo god i'm slow! S
just caught it on dvd. it definitely is a good film, i think. Kate is great and yeah pretty cute. i don't think this was really billed as a horror movie though...i remember it being more of a suspenseful drama kind of campaign. anyway i really enjoyed it.
