Wow, after months of reading, and many nights trying to understand what to expect... trying to compare trip reports I've read about to acid, mushrooms, or even weed... I finally took a larger amount (perhaps a 6th of a gram) last night. Here is what happened.. and yes, I do have some questions. 1. Had 3 large hits (could have fit it in 2), using a glass pipe and torch. 2. Held each one for about 20 secs... (its harder than you would think, but I like the taste)... many say its not good, but I like it. I lied back, and waited for what I though would be some visuals, perhaps colors, maybe some hallucinations... what I got can only be summed up by a sentence that came to me after the trip: "Are we really alive the way we think we are?". I watched the world swirl around, and roll around, and the reality I was living in rolled around in a great big ball. I was calm though the whole rolling issue, and felt so at peace. Than - I began to watch this rolling ball of reality I was living in slowly roll away.. it was gone, I understood the nothing and everything people have mentioned in their reports.. reality was not real the way I always thought it to be.. it was as though I was plugged into a machine for decades, and finally pulled my head out of it, and saw what was really around me. I didn't understand all of it, but I also knew it was not the first time I was there. I remember as I left reality behind thinking "oh yea.. I remember this... how could this have been forgotten?". as I came back, I remembered my family, and people around me who I care for.. and it was a huge blanket of love in that memory... and sally said.. "live in love". It really meant a lot to me, as I realize, just as foolish as I've been thinking this is the only reality around me... I have been just as foolish living in frustration, and panic... love is all that we needed to make our lives good... the rest is just icing in the machine. Some of you know I've done it alone, and that’s why I took it very easy my first time... I also realized the need for a sitter - but - not necessary because I might drop my pipe, or stumble around, fall and get a boo.boo. - but to learn from. The kind of sitter that would be helpful is one that understands the nature of psycadelics... someone who would not do it to watch the colors and groovy visuals, but, someone who knows there is more.... and wants to learn from it. Someone who wants to become a better person, and understand reality and spirituality in a more complex way... I remember that was one of the greatest things about Acid (haven’t done it for years… last time was back at Univeristy… but we always did large doeses.. 4+ hits). I remember the hours of talking, and understanding... we searched for the answer... and it was the search that shaped us into what we all became... not the answer (that we all end up forgetting anyhow).
wise words, Its good to see someone who can appreciate the spiritual/meditative use of psychedelics and entheogens as much as I do. It sounds like you had an eye opening experience! good luck in the future!

Hey Mellow: Thank you... Yes, it was truely remarkable. I have done it a few times since.. and it has always taught me something. I'm glad to hear others are into pshycadelics for a higher purpose... I really hope this stuff stays legal... I also don't see any reason it wouldn't.. I don't think many people could do it for any other reason than mediation and spirituality.. its defiantly not a party drug in any sence of the word... Hi Redgreenvines: It was acctually 1/6th of 6x extrace (from Iamshaman.com). It was very nice... I have some 10x I was going to try out next week... but, thats probably as strong as I'll really be into going...
