i'm 29 and going to START college on the 11th of january. this is going to be weird.. i think. most of the people there, i assume, will be fresh out of highschool. i look like a teenager though.. so maybe i'll just blend in. i'm having anxeity over it already, but i know i'll be find after about a week or so. anyone else start college .."later" than most?
Colledge is dum. That's where people go so they can do all that corperate monny stuff. The extablishment is always telling me to go to colladge and finish high school and stuff, but I ain't lisening.
i started at 21 and am one of the youngest lol - when i finished school i didnt go to college i had enough of learning lol - good luck - im sure you will be fine xXx
on the plus side, colleges and universities do teach people how to spell properly I wish you luck Boogabaah... I was one of the youngest starting university (I was 17, one of my friends was 16 but most people are about 18 or 19 here) but I found people quite accepting regardless of age
Hmmm.... I always thought that mastery of such basics as spelling, grammar, and math were prerequisite for getting into college in the first place. Besides, I suspect that Beyond-The-Clouds' misspellings MIGHT have been intentional - his post to be tongue-in-cheek humor.
It's not a big deal at all. I've had people from 17 to 65 in my classes. There'll be plenty of other late starters there with you.
I spell wrong and use bad grammer cuz the school and extablishment tell me to spell and grammer propper.
Dont feel bad, Im saving to go back to college as we speak so therefore it will take me a while to be able to go so I'll probably be older then 29
My best friend is in her first year of college....she is 30. No big deal....you'll just be more mature and not showing up hung over...(hopefully...)
I was 37 the last time I went. I had gone when I was 27 for a BS and went back for graduate school. The only problem I had was trying to keep from strangling the people who disrupted classes that I was paying hard-earned money to attend. I found that most of the serious students were friendly and helpful. They were a few that were there on daddy’s dime that were a pain in the ass but they were in the minority. It was tough working and going to school but it was worth it. By the way, both of my degrees are in nursing so I have not seen a lot of that corporate money. You will do fine, good luck to you.
the last college program I was on we had 21 people ranging in age from 18 to 54 the average age was likely around 28, maybe higher so ya, no worries, I'm sure you'll have people you can relate to age wise, and even if you can't I'm sure there's some hip youngsters out there who wouldn't be to bad either good luck peace
I'm barely a sophomore. Took a year off to work, then I realised most jobs without school are kinda crap.
