Around here, I've come across many drugs. I've never done any except ex which was truely amazing and i love the drug but that's besides the point. Most of my friends smoke or have smoked and I'm curious to know why, and I'm trying to learn more about the drug before I use it myself. They all give the same reason that you just have to try it to understand, and I know reading online about the drug will only give me the school taught lessons- weed is bad- but assuming most of you have tried it, or have done research on it, I was wondering why people choose the drug- it seems to be an extremely poplular one around here-, Also what effects it has on your body and mind and if there's any effects the day after- I've seen people high and it doesnt appease me to be in that relaxed state of mind but mabey I'm wrong mabey theres more a mental thing there. But yeah that should be a good starter on research of weed.

I hardly use weed these days, only on rare occasions. I used it pretty heavily back in the day and ended up feeling like I was living under a cloud- seperated from my intuition and the roots of my greater self. I use psychedelics on occasion these days (mushrooms, LSA, mescaline). I find that weed just lowers my consciousness. Peace and good luck,

I think one of the biggest reasons people enjoy it so much is because it's very worry free. There are so little side effects that people can feel free to indulge as much as you want without having to worry about over dosing or having a bad trip(although it has happened, but very very rare). You can also judge dosages easier, just smoke till you feel your done. People feel safe knowing how the high will be, when they consider the quality of marijuana they are smoking and how much they smoke.
    Also, I second erowid.org

I use bud to enhance the activites I already enjoy; and to make some of the tedious ones a bit more fun. Mowing the lawn is so much easier when your high, it's like a real-life videogame. Running is fun and feels great (make sure you have water though o_O), and you can run farther and longer than when your sober (in my experience). Food is just so awesome while your high... nothing like regaining lost weight (in my case, I only weigh 115 and am 5'10") after a sickness like Mono.

you can also run faster form my experience too

i had forgotten that thats why weed is so great.. wihtout it, life can get so boring.

ill assume ex is extacy? i havnt tried that, but from waht ive heard, id say theyre similar in that they pull out emotions, and make sensations more intense, but yeah dont take my word for it jsut try it, you cant regret trying weed unless u love it too much and dont stop lol.

A man once said (no really, I don't remember the guys name though...) "Marijuana doesn't alter one's behavior; instead, it seems that it emphasizes it."

I find this to be very true on many different accounts.
