emma had puppies about a mouth ago and her poor nipples are hanging to the ground and i feel so bad for her . . . she is a mixx of alot of doggies big and small chow, lab, nuffinlan,

i was wondering if anyone could tell me if she will ever get back down to size?
and i am waiting a month after she stops nursing to get her spayed is that long enough?

All the sagging and stuff will die down when she stops nursing, but I'd say to just ask a vet, they'll tell you whens the right time to her spayed.

It can take quite a while for everything to go back to normal, but it will eventually.
Waiting a month may or may not be a long enough time. Depending mostly on age. If she's young then it should be fine. Older dogs have a harder time recouping after being spayed therefore it'll probably take them longer to recoup after having puppies.

ya shes only a year and a half, and i did call mt vet today and we schedualed an app. in sept. she said that shpould be fine

isnt it so amazing how animals take care of each other? i find it so amazing, emma was there for me when i had my babies and i was there for her when she was having hers and she is such a good little momma dog, im so proud of her. . . . i have to admit though, that i wished it upon her to have puppies just so that shed understand what i was doing. she use to piss near the crib alot and now she doesnt. i think she realizes that i wasnt neglecting her, i mearly had to take care of the babies. oh its so amazing
