I just got back from a donovan concert, and i have to say, i just love old hippies. It was so fun to see all of these grown men and women donning their tie-dye shirts and just having fun remembering the music they had. At one point this one man in front of me comes back to his seat and says "man, if you wanna hit some grass just go to the mens room and take a big whiff". that made me smile. everyone just seemed so happy and friendly. cool people
aww, i'd love to see donovan...i actually kind of thought he passed away, or snuck out of the music business or something...i need to read up on him, and see if he is coming round me (highly highly doubt it...)
his voice sounds great. Its not old or raspy, its almost exactly the same. Im not a diehard donovan fan by any means though, so maybe i just didnt notice a change.

Yes POD I saw it...wonderful. I got a kick out of him saying..."yes' they reported that when the cops busted in I jumped on one of their backs naked screaming obsenities" "Well, did you???" "yes"... hahahahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaa My son is named after him.
