Haha's Ebizzle Garage Sale!

I'm negative fortysomething bucks in the bank and I can't find a job. Yesterday, I recalled seeing a story about the AllMyLifeForSale.com guy a few years ago and got inspired. I've decided to sell as much of my stuff as I possibly can on ebay. I'm such a packrat... I don't need 90% of the stuff I have. So, I'm going to start putting stuff up in the next day or two, and I thought I'd give all my pals here at the Hip Forums a heads up so you can get all the early bird "good stuff." Most of it has more sentimental than monetary value, but that makes it even better. I might do some little cheap penny auctions at first, but I really do need to make money.

Thats cool. I'm a packrat too. When I move, I'm going for the minimalism bit. Like a bed and a table w/ a computer. That's it. Some kind of instrument too, probably

 

Pretty much everything except my tv and most of my books: all the stuff on the floor, in the closet, on my desk.... it will probably take a while, since I don't have the mental capacity to put it all up at once, but it will happen.


I also don't have very much discipline when it comes to sticking to things, so I might just do it for a week and then quit. You never know. Let's hope not.

I will also send everyone who wins an auction a personalized letter or postcard.

I was gonna ask what Ebizzle meant, and then right as I hit the post button I realized that it meant Ebay. It does mean Ebay, right?

My next door neighbors are a married couple in their twenties. I've noticed twenty somethings today are more open about things than when I was twenty. Anyway, they have a friend that's a photographer. He takes bikini, and lingerie shots of my neighbor's wife...let's call her "tat" cause she has tattooes. He pays her and her friends $150./hr to pose. Then he posts these perfectly non-pornographic images to his site along with descriptions of what type modeling the individual girls are willing to do. Other photographers look at his site and pay him for contact information if they want a particular model. For example, tat got hired for a shoot where she wore a bikini and wrestled another girl in a kiddie pool filled with jello while a guy took pictures. It was an hour long shoot and she made $300. Another time she told me that she was getting a pedicure cause she had a shoot where the guy wanted just to take pictures of her feet. Of course, when she goes to these shoots, she has her ex-marine husband with her for security. Bottom line is that I know the photogragher is always looking for models and he travels to find them. If those feet on eBay are yours, then I'm sure that you at least have a future as a foot model. That's a very pretty foot. If your interested, I'll get the contact info for you, or pass yours on to the photographer. Let me know.

 

You like my foot? That's the greatest compliment ever!!! I love you. I've never thought about modeling. It wouldn't kill me to try it.... but I must warn you, my left foot has a problem with nudity. You'll have to talk her into it.

 

hehehe.....well, school's starting up in a little over a month and i need about $350 for books! so, i too am doing a little "online yardsale" over at ebay. i just barely posted some stuff (nice used clothes), and there's more to come! i'm a packrat, too. hehe and i have a ridicuously huge wardrobe, most of which i never even wear or have only worn a couple of times. so i'm finally getting rid of some of it. i've been pawing through my closet for weeks and i'm ready to start saying good bye to some stuff. anyway, if any of you are interested in some really nice quality cute used clothes, go check out my auctions. my seller name is usjonesgirls i tried to do nice low starting prices, so it'll be bargain buys! i also do lots of crochet and sewing and i might be posting some of that stuff soon, too. alright, i'm done!

ive been debating ebaying some ol junk... i probably have you beat for pack-rat ness. i live minimally, my room wouldnt show it. i have boxes of shit i have but dont use, and i could really use the cash...

i just need to get around to ebaying it, and convince myself its the best way to rid me of it all
