    THE YEAR 1905

    The year is 1905.

    > The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower!
    > The average wage in the U.S. was 22 cents per hour.
    > The average U.S. worker made between $200 and $400 per
    >year
    > A competent accountant could expect to earn $2000 per
    >year,

    > More than 95 percent of all births in the U.S. took
    >place at home.
    > Ninety percent of all U.S. doctors had no college

100 years ago isn't long enough - but 200 years ago, on this continent, hippiehillbilly and I would be fucking pioneer superstars - we'd make Meriwether Lewis and Davy Crockett look like faggots, and our descendents would own the whole fucking state of Idaho

1905 in the U.S. does deserves attention -- it was before the horrors of international interference in the big war, men could still ride the rails and find work, folks could still farm, there was still land available to those who worked their asses off - from what i've read, it was a fine fucking year

In England in 1905 - all the men were powdering their wigs and giving blowjobs to one another and all the women were working in coal mines - kinda' like present day Pennsylvania
