This may not be where I should be posting but we missed the Arizona gem show by like a week last time and I don't wanna miss it this time. Anybody have information on the gem show that they want to share with me?
thinking that the Tuscon Gem show is in Feb. the Quartzsite Gem show officially starts in January. Quartzsite has better prices and there's free camping on the BLM land. If you show up in Quartzsite a little early, there's a good chance that you can work at one of the booths and pick up some extra spending green. There are a lot of Rainbows working booths at both shows.
Quartzsite is a buyers market, and Tuscon is a sellers. Lots of really great stuff and alot of family arizonia is a great winter state. we were there 2 years ago and everybody we met gave us stuff from quartzsite and tuscon. we never made it , maybe next time.

Pretty much all of January and you don't have to worry about finding a certain place because the whole town of Quartzsite is lined with shows & trading posts; the whole town turns into a gem & mineral show. It's a good idea to bring specialty foods (like TVP or other health food stables) with you because Quartzsite is a very small town. A lot of folks buy rocks & beads in Quartzsite during Jan; then sell in Tuscon during Feb.
Search engines are a great and wonderous thing! AllI did was put in Quartzite gen show and... http://www.desertusa.com/Cities/az/quartzite.html They have info on shows towards the bottom of the page. There were several other sites that googled up that may help you more.

I think my family will be cruising out to the tuscon show this year. SOunds like it will be amazing!~
I try to avoid it, I do mainly charoite related items and so I buy in bulk off ebay and its not too bad, and since im going just after a few things the az trip isnt needed. Although id ike to go just to seee all the folks, ive heard mixed reviews about the local cops opinion..........
