Ok, i used a trogans warming sensation condom about a week ago and since then i have noticed my vagina is tickly itchy feeling and just uncomfortable and i was wondering if u think maybe whatever they use i could be allergic to or something, i am assuming it was the condom i dunno what else it could be but i thought only spermicide could have tthat effect. i went to the gyno a day ago and she said everything was fine down there but i forgot to mention this issue because i thought my nervousness for going to the gyno was causing me to make stuff up.(it was my first pap smear) but now since i have gone it seems worse... do u think it could be the condom? has this happened to anyone else using this condom? thanx

Well, I remember having a similar sensation down there when we would use condoms period. At first I thought it was the spermicide, then when we refrained from getting the ones with spermicide I thought it must be the lube on them since the sensation still came, so we went with just regular dry condoms. Still got it. I figure I must be slightly allergic to the latex because it wasn't a horrible feeling like the awful itching from a yeast infection, and it never lasted long....but I stopped using condoms after a while anyway since I was on birth control and in a monogomous relationship anyway. And even though we figured out it was just the latex, I do know girls who are alergic to most of the lubes they use on condoms. You may be too. In fact, if it's worse since the gyno, that might just be it. I know my gyno slathers on quite a bit of lube to get up in there. I don't really know much about lubes though, like what's in them, what kinds are out there in case you're allergic.... Try just using the regular condoms I guess. Maybe someone else who has more experience in this will help more, but there's what I know! hehe. Good luck with it hon.

You might be sensitive to both the lube/spermicide and to the condoms. There are condoms which are made of polyurethane not latex, but watch out! They're quite expensive. There's also natural lamb condoms. Hope this helps. Also, check out this website: www.condomania.com They've got lots of info for you....

I think it's either lube or the latex. Gyno's use both of those and if it's worse since you've been there then that was a double dose of either of the 2...

also, you could be alergic to the chemicals or even the latex. Oh, someone said that, from what ive seen there can be burning for lots of reasons. If anything gets up in your urinary tract it can be a bog problem, sperm, lubricant, spermicide, basically anything up there can cause burning, does it hurt worse when you pee?

Latex allergy can build up over time. You start with no allergy, but the more latex contact you have over time causes your skin to react. People are developing allergies to latex condoms, gloves and so on.

Try polyurethane condoms. They feel better as well. My girlfriend loves them, you can see the look on her face... Exquisite pleasure
