Has anyone here watched the wall while they were tripping on acid?

if so tell me what its like, my dad was telling me that you see more in the movie when you are tripping on acid than when your not, and i think it might be a bad trip because that movie is good but kinda scary so i was just wondering.

thats the only way to watch it. We did that with like 10 people. Most of them flipped and had to leave. Everyone else just got lost in the imagery. Apparently Pink Floyd never liked how popular they were in the drug culture, and never intended anything to be "trippy". Since after Sid left anyway......

Personally I'd opt for watching The Wall dry. I don't think you can really feel Water's genius otherwise. The creative composition is just sooo good and I always appreciate it much more than when I watched it crooked.

Also worth a casual watch are The Wiz of Oz with Darkside, played at the 3rd roar I think. Then Quadrophenia which is heaps better than Pinball Wiz, in my opinion. Oh and The Wiz! You know by Michael Jackson. Ahh Michael...now his inner torment out-horrifies Pink.

Apparently Pink Floyd never liked how popular they were in the drug culture, and never intended anything to be "trippy".

everything in life is trippy regardless of intention.

why is it the only reason to watch the movie??????

ridiculous....... why not watch under no influence at all??

all integrity is lost when you have to get wasted when you watch a damn movie

I think it's interesting. but nothing special.

I wouldn't want to watch it while tripping. However, I don't like watching tv when I'm tripping.

Oh, get off your fucking high horse.....no pun intended.......

Jesus Christ, it was just a figure of speech. I've watched the Wall many many many times, most of them sober, and I do fully appreciate Pink Floyd for everything it is, musically, emotionally and as a legendary piece, likely more than you. It is also a wonderful experience to trip out while watching this film because of the stunning visual elements and abstract sounds and the deep emotions which you are wildly open to when in such a state. I'm sorry, I was just trying to be colourful in saying it's the only way.

You don't fucking know me dude, or where I'm coming from. Why don't you all consider things like this before you go around calling people ignorant.............
