me im dodgin bullets usin up the last of my vacation days on top of my paid holidays an bein a slack ass..

well i am usin my last 2 vacation days outta 15 cause they dont role over..

i dunno guess ill be workin more than i care to,, for my boss,, not for the cash..

MAN,, i get paid fer what i do till this time of year then i have know clue how or why i get paid,, take today for example,, 270 miles driving,, 30 minutes with boss man, 30 minutes for fuel an lunch, 30 minutes of work,30 minutes pickin up animal feed, total time away from the house 7 hours 30 minutes,,,, 200 bucks,,..

so i guess it counts,, i dunno..

the office closed for 2 weeks as of monday.
though i had to go in on monday and tuesday :S

 

im working 9 or 10 hour days straight through till the 3rd probably...

 

I did that and it fucking killed me.

I got today though to the 26th off. After that Im back to work, even New Years Eve which always suck. Does the average worker even get a decent holiday these days?

I dont work weekends but I get the second off...And I cant wait till the first of Jan because I get all my vac and personal and sick time back...

I get 3 months off, started the 1st of december

 

Well, being that I'm a stay at home mother/housewife, I'll still be working as always.

My husband is always off on the weekends, but this upcoming week he'll get Monday off as well which is nice, so it will be a 3-day weekend. He always gets holiday pay.

But normally he works Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, although this morning he had to go in earlier to get a huge bid that he's majorly stressing out over by 10 this morning. I think he left around 5:30 this morning? I don't know, I was out of it. I vaguely remember him kissing me, telling me he loved me, and to have a good day, then he squeezed my bottom and left. I immediately zonked back out until 6:30.

 

3 months, if i ever got three months off id think id shit myself (do you get paid for that three months?)

 

Like hospitals and prisons....my job is 24/7.....and I have to say, the pay sucks

 

We don't get time off, I don't get any paid vacation or holidays.
But I do work on only commision so fuck everyone at work - I took a week off cause I can!!!!! hahahahahahaha!

 

I've got one day left on my current (real) job and then I'm free until I start my next gig on the 7th. Its the first time in 10 years that I've had NYE off and only the 2nd time I've had Christmas off over that span - I work in the hotel/restaurant biz.

Next week, I am going to bartend for 3 nights next week out in the ski down that I lived in for a long time, but that's not really work - its just having fun making drinks for friends of mind and seeing old friends before I move out of state at the end of the month.

 

Where are ya moving to?
