i need some books on the subject of socialism and/or democracy, my interest in socialism as well as demorcarcy is growing and i would like to study them both more
Leftism Revisited - from de Sade and Marx to Hitler and Pol Pot. Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn. Best book I've ever read on the subjects. Do yourself a favour, read every encyclopedia before reading leftism, shes a tough one.
Try CUBA: Anatomy of a Revolution. A very good book. It contains and indepth view of the policies of a newborn socialist society (in this case, Cuba). The Cuban government made some very interesting solutions to the problems of the Cuba, and this in itself is worth a read. I never thought so much happened from 1959 to 1960, before I read that book, and I continue to read it. Although not a huge fan of Lenin, his book The State and Revolution is, IMO, a good read.
