AMSTERDAM - The introduction of a ban on cannabis smoking in Amsterdam to fight the problems caused by youths smoking weed is 'a drunken measure' according to a spokesman from the BCD (Cannabis Bond). "it is a measure with a high ethnic taste, meant to tackle mainly Maroccan youths hanging about" The bond doubts whether police will be able to tackle problem youths that cause trouble on the streets.
