damn this washing crap

okay, so this morning i decided to wash my stash box. i scrubbed it pretty well, and when i was finished i put all my stuff back in. so now the problem is my stash smells really strong of the washing detergent stuff i used. iv now taken it outta the box and trying to air it a bit but its not working. the smell is giving me a headache.

any ideas for getting the smell outta my stuff?

 

The longer you leave the weed in there, the more it will begin to smell like weed again. I don't know.

 

does the stash itself smell like detergent, or just the box?

well, when cleaning almost ANY kind of equipment that is used for marijuana (tins, pipes, grinders, scissors, etc.) you always want to use nothing more than a solvent that is going to dissolve resin. water based products are not likely to do much of anything to clean your paraphernelia, it will just leave nasty chemical residues behind which you may end up smoking.

simple rubbing alcohol works great for most things. next time try just washing the box out with some unscented, uncolored 95% isopropyl alcohol (basic rubbing alcohol from the pharmacist). you can also use an alcohol wipe (like they put in first aid kits and like they use before a shot at the dr.) to clean the resin out of the inside of a glass bowl while letting the resin build up on the inside of the peice.

it should work fine and do a lot to remove the smell of marijuana.

damn that sucks...i left half a joint in mettel box with some colone in there too, took it out and smoked it almost threw up because it tasted like colone, fuckin nasty

it sucks..and right before chirstmas

 

I always use 99% iso to clean my stuff and then evap the alcohol as to not waste resin

 

well im throwing up...badlly...and on christmas....thats worse....

 

thats sucks. i was sick cristmas last year but it wasnt related to smoking.


why were you cleaning your stashbox?

 

cause i had all this match ash crap at the bottom of it which was getting into everything
