Hands down, I am OBSESSED with ambient/trance music. I have been listening to techno and dance music for years now, but trance has found a solid place in my mind and heart and I can only find so much good stuff. I was hoping some of you here could help me find some great new stuff. I current fav. artists are (variating genres): Sasha and Digweed (also Sasha's earlier stuff w/o Digweed) Theivery Corporation Nick Warren Armin Van Burren Dj Tiesto Chicane ATB (wow, my list really is VERY limited, didn't realize that until now ) I also like alternate artists like Jason Nevins, Ferry Corsten, and more, but my selection is sooo limited. I guess what I'm asking for here is just a list of some similar (or not) songs and artists that I could find and check out, I'm looking to broaden my list but don't know anyone else who listens to this sort of music. PLEASE HELP ME!
try downlaoding some psy-trance. dynamo wizzy noise are both good artists to check. For finding underground music like psy-trance the best p2p software to use is soulseek

Check out Darude and Robert Miles. There the best trance musicians that I've heard. Mike Oldfield has this track called Far Above the Clouds, and it's the best trance I've heard.

I'm sorry for not checking back sooner, I figured this thread was just going to die out after a couple of days....Looks like I was wrong! I appreciate everyone taking the time to reply to my post. Thanks again, and PLEASE if you want to add to the list, do so, I would love to see this list grow ever so much more. EDIT: I will post back on what I found to be my personal top favs after I get a chance to explore the many new artists.
