Does anyone else here have the honour of working over Xmas? I have... :$ I'm working xmas eve, xmas day, boxing day and new years eve. They also had me down for an 8am start on new years day too, but I complained about having to work all the holiday days (for no extra pay I might add) so I got one of them off. What a con eh? Maybe I should just not turn up or something.
I'm working on the 23rd, then getting the 24th and 25th off. Back at work on the 27th, working until the 30th, then back good and early in the New Year. It sucks.
im off 24th-26th in 27th-31st but we finish at 3 on new years eve so we have time to get ready for partying!
i think id be a one for working over the "festive" holidays when ive started to work for the nhs just for more pay
Im on the rnli Lifeboat and am on call over both , as i dont have family nor children , so several of us said we would crew the boat, so as the others could have more fun. hey sometimes its more fun being sobre
I'm worked last night. Also working tonight (christmas eve), boxing day and new years eve. But this is all int he rock pub I've been drinking in for 6 years that one of my best mates owns, so its all good I'm evening doing 4 hours of DJing there on new years eve
I dont know, we have 24 hour drinking now so.. i get the feeling NYE will be the big one, we normaly go out at around sunrise as its local tradition to go for a swim on new years day, but we might be out earlier than that lol,
