    Slowly through the years
    we lose our moral years
    and slowly sin
    comes creepin' in
    A lost generation
    starting to get loose
    without hesitation
    tighten' their eternal noose
And now with our desires feed
    we turn to cliam
    ...God is dead

    Indded, God is dead.

Dead to desire, dead to duality.
    Dead to ignorance.

    God has annihilated ego.

Do the same, become one with all.

Well Jerry since there are people who feel that god is dead, and since there have been people saying it for about a century, you may want to assert your point a bit more firmly. If the goal of your poem is to be interpreted a specific way, that is. At this point it really can be read either way.

Also, you might want to try and hammer the meter in lines 5-8, because at the moment I can't really find how it's supposed to flow.

It's an interesting theory though, that we claim god is dead because we don't feel his 'love' anymore as a direct result of our actions. At the same time... I present to you that debauchery has been an ongoing theme in nearly all social groups throughout history, religious institutions included. So why is it that only in the last century do we declare god dead?

God is not dead, we are dead to God. That's what I think he's saying. I don't think he needs to change it either, I think you just have to pay attention when you read it. Not all poetry is laid out all simple and easy.
