Anyone know of anyone on the east coast with Rottweiller/Black Lab mix pups? I'm in B-more and we really, really want one. One of my clients has one and they are amazing dogs.
instead of going to a breeder who is selling animals like items for profit, why not adopt a needy dog from a shelter. google "petfinder" and that site lists all homeless and needy dogs from every shelter in america. you type in your zip code and it pulls up all the dogs from shelter starting from closest to where you live. you can also specify your search by typing in what breed you are looking for, including mixes i believe. best site EVER!
A friend of mine got a lab/rottie mix from a shelter...he is a good dog. Checking out the shelters might just be a good idea...I wouldn't think that lab/rottie mixes would be that hard to find.
To clarify, I wasn't looking for a "breeder", just someone with some pups. I am checking the shelters, but there aren't a lot of puppies this time of year as you might imagine.

Yeah I understand why you want a rottie as a puppy. Great dogs but stubborn as hell. : D I will keep my eyes out but I think petfinder is a good bet for you.
