O man i just saw eric clapton at the United Center in Chicago. Amazing, you just can not see a preformance like that from any new music. He plays so effortlessly and long guitar solos. Ec played two cream songs Sunshine of your love and Badge along with the classics Cocaine and Layla. I am blown away by the whole experience. If u get a chance go and see EC in concert.
I can imagine it would be great seeing him at the moment... I've managed to get my hands on a few of his shows from this year's tour and it seems to me like he's playing the best I've heard him play in 30 years! Maybe having a young buck like Robert Randolph supporting him is pushing him back to levels he's not seen since he had that awful perm! lol Playing a heavily blues-based set is probably helping a lot too... He was born to play the blues and you can tell his playing raises a few notches when he gets into his blues stride again..
