It's good. It's different from Dave's earlier stuff. It came out in 2002. It's more song and less jam oriented. It's really cool. They got some radio play off it. Anyone that like's DMB, have you heard this CD?

i never did like dave matthews band... and then dave started writing pop songs. Stand Up or whatever it is, thats got to be the worst album i heard this year.
DMB was kinda cool back in the day.....and i stress KINDA (meaning Kind OF).....he was an alright opener for PHISH, and thats about it....the best thing he ever did was with Trey and the Baobob Orchestra of Africa, but he barley did anything....so it doesn't really count.....
I like how he gets into the tribalness... and how he has the capability of making it... mainstream... Eh, thats' about it. I'd rather listen to soulive or something, usually. Carter Beauford, Leroi Moore, and Tim Reynolds are better musicians than he is.
i love DMB they are one of my favorite bands. their music is just so different and unique and i can relate to most of it. My favorite CD is before these crowded streets. i like busted stuff too. but i absoultly love their live stuff, its awesome.
Wow....why all the DMB hate? I mean I wouldn't sever a limb to go see them, but they have interesting music, interesting lyrics, and they aren't pop jackasses. My ex got me hooked on Busted Stuff. I really loved that album. I also liked Dave's solo album. ~Layla
my problem with dmb is that you can tell that dave thinks hes hot shit with his stupid corny songs. I cant stand that whole scene (dmb fans ruined phish's scene as well). I feel like everyone thinks its cool to like him so they go to his concerts and put his lyrics in their profiles or watever. All his fans think hes some kind of god or something when hes just mediocre. His band is pretty tight but he's lame. P.S. his music is not unique
I don't think he's a god. I do like his lyrics. I do like the band. I do like the sound. I do like that I hear real instruments on their records as opposed to this techno-pop-choreographed-edited-Hilary Duff-Avril La....whatever her name is- rap-ghetto bullshit. I like the band. They have unique instruments implemented. Do I put them up in the ranking of my musical gods: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, the Who, Neil Young...what have you...no, I don't. But as opposed to some asshole like "Fiddy Cent" or some talentless bitch like Britney Spears, I would take DMB any day of the week So sarcastically roll your eyes or whatever. layla, the bands you are comparing dmb too do not have a whole lot in common. And i dont think u should condemn 50 cent to the level of britney spears. Im not that big of a 50 fan but I feel like alot of ppl dont give rap a chance.
