My thoughts exactly. There is a time for introspection and there's a time for having fun. This just happened to be one of the times when she wanted to have some fun.

I'm glad you had a good time. I wish I had a quad right about now so I could have some FUN, because the holidays are not the time for introspection. Just enjoy yourself. I always wanted to look at the christmas tree while shroomin. It has to be some trippy ass shit.

and all that religious expierience aint real, its jus some shit you think up, thats why when its good it completely changes your life, cuz thats what your mind thinks is what or w/e ya Im baked but you know what i mean. I eat em jus to trip out and have a good time in a forest or in a park or sumthin.

 

They're illegal because if everyone was on shrooms everyone would be too aware for the government's own good.

 

I think they're illegal cause they change people consciousness and it doesn't put them in a stupor. Also it would be hard for corporations to bank off em when anyone can grow them in their home. Whereas tobacco and alcohol are a little harder to manufacture. At least I think so. I made alcohol for a science experiment and it sucked, but I've grown some pretty tasty caps.

 

Also laughing is very therapeutic and healthy. Actually in Yoga I often do laughing meditations where we just laugh because it makes you feel good and frees your mind. I think its really hard to put yourself up on a psychedelic pedastool and say this is how your supposed to trip and this is what you are supposed to get out of it. Some people like psychedilics allow them to let loose, others like them cause they make you laugh, some like the somatic aspects, yet others the psychological and some just like the visuals. Who's wrong and who's right? Isn't everyone taking something out of their trip?

how is laughing and being happy the reason why shrooms are illegal? i see no harm in her laughing and having a good time, shes enjoying her life.

 

Before readin this topic I had the same opinion as one of the first to respond's opinion, but after reading what some other people said, I changed my mind and won't view people who use them for fun any different than the ones the deeper more respectful way. Good posts, should turn some people's mind around on this forum.

 

next month i´m going to use shrooms for the first time with two friends. the other two are in for fun but when i heared about the whole religious thing i´m curious about that to so I wonder what´s going to happen

 

My pedestal is so psychedelic that i trip walking up to it, and I smoke gorilla fingers when I stand on it. It gets kinda old so I turn on music and dance around instead of just standing on that dam pedestal all night though. Who's pounding guinness tonight? :H

Although I do like eating them I dont believe in learning anything out of them. I mean its good to get into deep thinking on them n shit but seriously man.

 

they can show you how to live for the better...and much more...lots of stuff can be learned, on you and the world...but seeing god yeah I agree, if you believe you were in contact, well its your belief, as people believin in god is not really arguable...But some think they really go into other 'dimensions' and all , well thats kinda funny but...

I wouldnt say you can't learn anythin from it...psychedelics are real good to figure out stuff, which will be still coherent in reality....kinda like the dhalailama writing books for occidentals...
