I have been watching a lot of films with John Lennon and Yoko Ono lately. I know many people believe Yoko as this bad person who broke up the Beatles. However I found their love for each other simply beautiful. I hope one day to find that sort of love with someone. Thus the reason of my sig of the two of them. They never left each other's side and just was this love that I rarely have seen between two people. I hope one day that I will acheived that sort of love with someone. Gotta have hope.

    Maybe they were in love...

Only thing I don't like about Yoko? Oh well...everything. She's getting rich off of his fame. It's ridiculous.

She was already vastly wealthy before she was with John. All forms of love are beautiful...judge not lest ye be judged and all that. ( remember those days past dancerannie!) Sorry i haven't done the bf reading yet. Something is telling me now you are just pissed in general? i think this yoko/john just struck a nerve with you cause of bf issues. *big hugs*

I always thought what they had was beautiful, even overlooking his affair. Like in the Imagine documentary, you look at them and you just see something so pure. Two people in love. People can be mad because she "broke up the Beatles," but all that really matters was the fact that he loved her and she loved him. Beautiful is the only word to describe their relationship.

Nope, my bf and I are wonderful. I recently attended an art gallery that consisted of some of Lennon's work and read through some descriptions of pieces and some of Lennon's pieces had been printed and hand colored by Yoko. Personally, I'd be upset if my significant other was getting rich off of my work. So the works are not Lennon's any longer, but a collaboration of Yoko and John. Sorry, but if I want to see Lennon's work, then I should be able to, without interference of Yoko.

    Just my personal opinion.

dancer, my apologies, am really glad the vibe is good for you two! but now i am just wondering, why do you think it's bad that a loved one could benefit from their dead loves work? i don't get that attitude? at least he was with someone who he truely loved and was loved by ! love is love! love~O

yeah, i concur....she wasn't the reason the beatles broke up...there were many, many reasons, and her always being at recording sessions DID add to the tensions that had already been mounting for several years...they fizzled out like many truly great bands have, and i'm glad that they fizzled out when they were still doing quality work instead of trying to hang on while putting out crappy stuff. they were all ready to move on from the beatles, and they each did their own thing. i see nothing wrong with yoko benefiting from john's work, because they were husband and wife...if i die before my lover, i want them to benefit from my stuff even after i'm gone...i want that person taken care of...that's another way you could look at it.

I don't see anything "beautiful" about a married man abandoning his family for some broad. Of course, maybe his first wife was lucky, since it's well known that John beat her. *sigh*
