we do too! Even I'm looking for something! This is a mess, the whole thing. But I've found a company that does placement for in-home/part-time internet work. They work mostly with SAHMs so I might just get myself a good job.

 

I'll say a blessing for you guys.

It makes it really hard to plan a date for the gathering without knowing Brian's (or yours, for that matter) future work schedule. But I think for maximum turnout we need to seriously think about it being over a weekend. Maybe we can all camp and you guys show up after the wedding and we'll all party you down?

i saw the earthdance thing ...what venue are you talkin bout ?what date? theres a lot .

 

No plans set yet. I don't want to just set a date and exclude everyone, and this isn't my original plan. It's lace_and_feet's....I think this should be a group effort....Althoguh, personally, I'd like the first weekend in August.

Hey, thanks for the consideration.

BUT, please feel free to take the reigns on this! This next quarter for me is going to be just crazy, so any contributions/decisions are welcome to be made without me giving an OK. As long as there is a consensus. I will be able to fit my schedule around it. I really just wanted to post this thread to first see if there was such a gathering in the works, and if not, then to put one into motion because I think it could be a great thing. And it sounds like things are shaping up nicely already, especially considering we're still over 6 months away from the actual event.

If we can pick a date, securing a some campsites could be the next logical task.

It seems like we could go with the first weekend in August? We haven't had anybody that didn't like the date yet. I'm willing to put up some bucks to reserve some sites if we can figure out where it should be held. I'll start by putting in a vote for Oregon near or accessible to I-5. And another question has to be: In light of certain recent events should we not post the location for the general public and use PM's instead? I'm a little concerned about the weirdos out there now.
