Oh i see.. i never knew you had/have the joy of raising seahorses.. This is indeed a happy day. I hope many more will hear the news...
Awwww i got a bit excited there.. http://www.staff.ncl.ac.uk/andrew.harbottle/seamonk.htm i understand now...seems less romantic than keeping seahorses ... i was hopeing for seahorses..never mind.. good luck with that..*sigh*.
That's cool Boogabah! In the spring, we're going to be growing some frogs here! Almost went the seamonkey route, but my oldest loves frogs (as do I really, I had numerous pet frogs as a child that I caught and kept for a day or two and then let go), so we're going to watch a tadpole grow into a frog.
aaaww frogs! theres a place near where i like to go camping that has MILLIONS of frogs .. good times i had seamonkeys once before and my mother MURDERED them all.. ugh.. she poured them out cus she thought it was just a container of water
I used to "rescue" sick or hurt animals as a child. Birds especially, but any animal really. Anyway, I would get so hysterical if I couldn't help them that my mom started lying to me when they died during the night. She would bury the poor dead animal and tell me that it had gotten better and escaped. I would go beserk whenever any of my pets died. I always grew so attached to them! I remember when there was a tornado warning and I refused to go into the basement until I got every last one of my pets downstairs with me. And let me tell you, I had a lot. Frogs, fish, birds, hamsters, cats, dogs. *giggles* My house was a regular zoo.
