have you recently become veg? in comparison to meat/animal products, plant based products move quickly through the digestive system...
i'm not sure other than that

if you're not used to soy or only eat it occasionally, then yes, it can have that effect on ya! i eat it a LOT & never have that problem anymore, but when i was keeping some friend's kids, i was warned about feeding them too much soy for this same reason(since they weren't used to it)

Vegetarians and even more so vegans, experience frequent bowel movements :D

It's a good thing though. Meateaters have rotting carcasses in their belly for a long time, cos it doesn't digest fast.

    Exactly.

Even if you're not exactly new to being veg, I think it's more or less whether you're used to soy/tofu. If it's something you just started eating ...that could be why.

Anytime I try a food I've never really experienced, I get that way... I think it's just because it's foreign to the body.

Don't worry, if you keep eating it, your body should get used to it... If it continues, then try obtaining your protein and other vitamins from other sources and see if that helps.

And if you are new to being veg, get used to it... your body is going to digest things a hell of a lot easier and quicker than it used to.

    Hope that helps a little.

You're supposed to poop once for every meal you eat.
Omnivores tend to not poop as much because they don't get as much fiber.

What did you have on the tofu? (or was it plain?)
