http://www.petakillsanimals.com/ PETA MURDERS ANIMALS. This page tells the truth about this group, that pretends to fight for animal rights.... But they don't, they kill a lot of animals, their hipocrisy sucks. Don't get me wrong, i am NOT supporting Fur Farms, safari hunters or the way animals are kept. BUT i wouldn't trust them.
This is from the perspective of people who are against the animal rights movement in general. At the bottom of the page they also have links against other groups such as PCRM. Helping animals is not the agenda of this website. Do you really think it is?
If my memory serves me correctly (ive seen that whole article before) that article is courtesy of a company that manufactures meat.....(or somthing very similar....i know whatever it is they profit from animals exploitation)) so no matter what, they have an agenda. another thing....do you realize just how many animals are homeless and in shelters or in need of rescue? millions! PETA cannot possibly save them all nor can they care for every single one. some animals HAVE to be euthanized. I dont like it one bit but thats the reality of it and untill people start treating animals better and actually taking care of them the RIGHT way (spay & neuter, etc) we will always have this problem.
Center for Consumer Freedom is a lobby/advocacy group for the restaurant/booze/smokes industries this (probably PETA sponsored ) site collected some interestuing info on CCF http://consumerdeception.com/index.html better is Source Watch: http://www.sourcewatch.org/wiki.phtml?title=Center_for_Consumer_Freedom CCf's own description of why theior propaganda is better than someone else's proaganda http://www.consumerfreedom.com/about.cfm
*didnt read all links in their entirety* but if phillip morris is a factor here then they definatley have an agenda where animal rights are concerened. i wish i could remember specifics off the top of my head (someone else may be able to pick up that slack) but the morris company is involved with things that are cruel to animals. i wish i could remember their place in the "cruelty" industry but i know for certain that they are involved either directly or indirectly, thus animal rights is a forseen threat.
"Tis better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and leave no doubt" Phillip Morris makes tobacco products, tobacco products kill people, people are animals.
yeah the PM comany wouldnt care if the whole world was obese with lung cancer...so long as they are still profiting.
I love that show... Of course, most animal rights activists will say that Penn and Teller are comedians and this was parody. The rest will say they are part of the vast right wing conspiracy.
Yeah, the fact that they start off that video by sitting at a table eating meat.... their intention is not to help animals. Even if they find things "wrong" with PETA, that organization cares more about animals than those 2 guys ever will. Anti-PETA propaganda is a strawman tactic for knocking down the animal rights movement in general.
OK, you obviously don't get it, but that's ok. I don't mind explaining it to you. Penn and Teller are comedians and magicians. Actually magicians first, but they are very funny. Cerebrally funny. I understand if you don't get it. Their intention was not to help animals. I know it's hard to believe that two hardcore, straight-edge, politically conservative atheists don't want to help animals, but it's true, I swear. Their intention was to display the raw, unfettered arrogance and hypocrisy that is Ingrid Newkirk's PETA. And of course you can personally refute every single statement made on that particular segment of Penn and Teller's BULLSHIT? Let me make it easy... refute ANY single statement on that particular segment. Any one. You can't. Penn Gillette is very thorough in his research. If these were not facts, Ingrid would have sued his fingernails off by now. Therefore: It's not Anti-PETA propaganda. It is factual reporting with an edge of humor which, again, you obviously don't get. Do yourself and the animals a favor. Support animal rights. Get involved in rescue work. Volunteer at your local shelter. Distance yoursel f from PETA.
im a PETA member but i dont donate to them. i dont have alot of extra money and so when i do take some money every month to help animals i give to my local shelter or another organization thats maybe not as widely known, like the elephant sanctuary. i imagine PETA gets plenty of money as they have lots of supporters including some very rich celebs that probably donate alot. but i do use peta when hooking up with other members to organize a protest or something of the like.
funny that an organization that so much is against any use of animal uses so much animal byproducts in their campaigns
PETA has been caught red handed dumping dead dogs and cats in dumpsters in Ahoskie, NC. These same animals were IDed by a shelter volunteer as being alive and well when PETA reps "adopted" them 2 days before. PETA supports and acts as a press agent for the ALF(Animal Liberation Front). The ALF is, in my mind, on the same level with terrorist groups. I will not give a red cent to PETA.
Not a PETA fan at all... they are killers and they steal people's money too...they took my cousin's money! She ordered some stuff, sent them money...months later no items...she contacted them about it and they never got back to her.It has been about a year, maybe a little more now...
