    thats a great painting! you are very talented! it does remind me of lily. i think the polka dot dress i ordered her will come today so im going to take some pics of her wearing it and then i will post them.

    Sure looks like a JRT to me. But fox, rat and JR look alot alike to me anyway..

    Oh, and they dock JRT tails because they are trained to go underground after foxes and the tail breaks when the dog backs up. My Daschund has the same instincts (badgers), but they don't need their tails docked, because they are thin enough to bend and not break. And I agree that unless you're using the dogs for those purposes, docking the tail is cruel and unnecessary.

    Elle, your dog could be a Nippon Terrier or something with Jack Russel, maybe some breed that is not FCI recognized.
