My brother and I went grocery shopping yesterday and ran into a holiday cake (Originally $20) on sale for $5. Tempation got the best of us and we bought it. Now I'm pissed because it's not layer cake.
That is a tragic, Thought it was a different kind of cake and then get it home and find out something else. I have done that before, I once went into the store to buy cashews and picked up a can of peanuts instead. I hate peanuts unless they are in peanut butter, I was mad. I like your signature photo liz, it's cool, Nice looking.
I would've gotten some peanut butter, sprinkled peanuts on the peanut butter, and had the best crunchy sandwich type thing ever. But yeah cashews beat peanuts any day, although those honey-roasted ones they used to give on airplanes were quite the contenders.
I also like pistachios, the only thing bad about them is removing the shell. My fingers get pretty sore. Then you get those ones where the shell is not split and thats worse.
I hate to see people not take pride in their cake. I mean, if you make a crappy cake, how are you gonna know the poultry they sell doesn't have bird flu? It's that kinda shotty workmanship thats destroying our culture.
I love them but hate it when the dry brown membrane thingy is still around them by the time I put them in my mouth. Get out the dental floss.
