Parents annoying over hair

Anyone else have parents that are constantly annoying you about getting a hair cut? My mom has been trying for weeks, and now my dad calls and goes yeah I scheduled an appointment for you tomorrow at 11 AM for a hair cut..without asking..my mom called my dad this morning and told him to set up a hair cut for me. They will feel pretty stupid when I dont go cause they made the appoitment not me. Anyone else have equally annoying parents on this topic?

Yea .. my parents sicken me. mostly my dad... my mom lets me do what I want pretty much.. But my dad will get mad at my mom over my hair sometimes, and how i need a haircut... Its fuckin gay.. im sorry, but damn man... I really hate the fact that my dad cares so much about image.. image came along as humans evolved and invented more dumb ways of judging people... were animals dammit, just like cats & dogs.. lets be freeeee

Interesting that you should plead for tolerance while using the word "gay" as a slur.

the word "gay" has kind of become a synonym with "messed up" i.e. "this is messed up man." "this is gay man."
though, i guess that can't really be justified for used of the word in the common "modern" vernacular. but either way, he wasn't being derogatory...at least not intentionally.

a lot of things that are personal shouldn't be important to other people

My parents are pretty cool about it, they'd rather I have long hair than look chavvy anyway. It's great the way my mam lets me use her straighteners

For me too on high school, but not now in college. Yesterday I met some of my old school used-to-be friends again and it instantly became the new conversation topic just like was every day in high school.

I'd have issues with you saying someone "Jew"d you out of money, too.

Or that the guy that sold you a false bill of goods was a real "Arab".

There is no such thing as "just a word".

And if I remember correctly Montreal is a real patchwork of all kinds of people. Hate speech really isn't their thing. Wasn't when I lived there.

You're talking about something worthless or messed up as "gay", because you're relating it to gays, because gays are all messed up and worthless.

That's what the term in that usage means and where it comes from.

Its funny how when you say a word like this.. people always get the worst idea out of it.. it couldve meant happy . but obviously people will have the tendacy to go towards its more powerful and negative meaning, just like you did there
