What am I doing wrong??---Vaporizer Issues

Hello everyone,
I got a new vaporizer for Christmas. It's not top of the line, but it aint no light bulb, j/k. It doesn't have a temp. control switch, just on and off. It's an official High Times product, your basic vaporizer.

Seems to work alright. I put weed in it and eventually there is some mist. I have tried different methods of vaping the weed. I first ground it up and put it in bone dry. Then I tried making a paste with just a drop of water and grinding the weed toghether in a bowl until it was a paste.

Both methods produced vapor, but I really don't feel as if I got high. I read the instructions perfectly and followed the rules. The weed is very dry out door weed, but when I smoke it I get so high....sometimes I think I could pass out. This batch at first looks like bunk, but it honestly packs a big punch.

So my question is this: Is my problem the weed or the vaporizer?

Any suggestions? Or is it just me? Am I looking for the wrong high or something? All I really feel is the "beginning" of the high, almost like I'm just high from sucking then holding my breath...lol. I sometimes feel a slight body buzz, zero burnout.

yeah, thats just not a good vaporizer. don't expect to get high off of it unless you use nugs, and its not going to be as efficient as a nicer model. not to worry, it's still nice to have to use occasionally as a novelty.

also, even with a good vape, it takes a little getting used to for some people.
