I'm thinking of calling in sick to work tomorrow....although my nasty-stomach feeling is much better tonight. But the asshole bosses demand that YOU have someone in line to replace you before you tell them you're not coming in. And my usual trusty coworker is currently sicker than I am. Plus, I need the money badly. Also, an inspector is coming to my apartment in four days, and despite the nervousness and urgency I'm feeling from that, I just can't make myself finish cleaning. I'm trying, really, but there's such a large mess and I have so many other things to do. Like bring home bacon.
Well, best of luck to you... sounds rough. I know the feeling. I just got back from working a 13 hour shift with no break, because we don't get breaks. I'm a waitress. And a single mom with a son to support. And sick. So yeah, I completely understand. Hope it all works out for you.
