Today is the first day of 2006 (at least here in the midwest.) and I hope you all had a great time partying, I know i did. I think that 2006 is ganna be a big year, Bushes popularity all over the world is plumiting, and more and more people are waking up to see the truth. People are protesting in the streets and signing petitions to keep corperations like Wal-Mart out of thier cities, and to bring the troops home from Iraq. And I believe it is ganna get bigger, we cannot, the world cannot wait two more years to get the Bush Administration out, and to end this occupation. Its time to stand up.

There's even hope for Bush that one day he may become his own person and find out what his religious heritage is really about.

I have become very pessimistic. I predict Bush will come up with something and more than half of the population will start sucking his ass again. Maybe another terrorist attack or something to create shock and wave and make the people forget about the real issues and problems.

Amen! It's gonna be a good year! I just hope those bastards can be somehow held accountable for what they've done, and I hope they don't take us with them on their way down...

MoonMaiden, as long as the rest of the world knows that the will of our leaders does not reflect the will of our people, that's the important thing! And y'all thought this was a "democracy"? HA!

I think he may very well be getting desperate for support for sure.

Just a couple weeks ago I was watching family guy on fox and they cancelled the program for a live talk from bush stating that he is doing the world good and putting an end to needless war and terrorism.Yeah right.

The good thing is he was desperate enough to ask the anti war protestors to support the war effort so he may very well be losing supporters each and everyday.

i don't think he'll last two more years, he's losing support. and that's the way it should be, we should not be lead by a person that believes money is what makes the world go round, he doesn't care about the people, if he did he wouldn't be sending thousands of troops to Iraq. we need people like him out of the white house. i'm not even american and i'm pissed off at the way he's handling this situation, i'm from canada and i support our decision to stay out of Iraq. it's a poinless war. we don't need it.

Well, if the Conservatives were in government Canada would be involved because they supported the war.

Canada is going down the same path as the US of A, if the conservatives win the election.

Im Canadian aswell and I can see it coming to if the conservatives are elected for sure.

I really wish more people would vote for the Green Party but it seems hopeless.

I can't believe how the media almost never talk of Green Party! No wonder people don't vote for it... The more a party s powerful the more he remains powerful. Everything s made so the one who's there remains just where he is.
The rich makes more money, the poor stays poor.
    am i right?

Well I convinced my parents to vote green and that mother nature is more important than human desire and money making but I think we the youth need to really be the ones to bring about the change.

    Well said!

Its true that the Green Party gets little to no attention, but it is us, the few (but more than we think) people in the canadian culture that are the ones to aid the grene party in gaining strength for growth and popularity. Brothers and sistaers fuel this party, and we need to get out there more! this year was my first year being politically active, and it was great!! Get a sign on your lawn, handout flyers, wear a pin, just talk to people :) Little by little. And even when we dont win any seats, its never a wasted vote. We need to show the buggers in the go vernment that more people than they think, live in the alternative way, and we want a voice and action too.

The dumbest thing I ever heard while workin in my coffee shop job was "Who can you vote for? The lesser of two evils, I guess." Ha! There are more than two options out there...

we (in america) need a president (if we need one at all) who, instead of taking protest as a personal affront, takes his head out of his ass long enough to (at least) hear what is actualy being protested to.

jeez lighten up, and if you must no, there are huge problems with the definition of terroristm, with every nation, many theorists and proffessionals having different ideas, if yo take the idea that it 'terrorizes' civilians or others, then surely some of theattacks in Iraq count.

and Bin Laden was not a terrorist but a freedom fighter :p (joke)
